In order to regain a place in the market, HMD Global today released a budget segment device, Nokia 2. Nokia 2 is one of the most affordable Android smartphones that Nokia offers from their recent releases.

Well, the Nokia 6, 8 is already available in India but none of the devices has so far been able to make a significant good for Nokia. Nokia 2, however, can change the fate from here. A majority of the smartphone users in India prefers a device between Rs 6,500 - 9,999. Nokia 2 is launched at a price that will target this very user base in a way no other phone will (at least a treat for Nokia fans).

Inside the phone has Snapdragon 212 processor. Now Snapdragon 212 is very new, so the real-time performance will matter a lot. On-papers, Snapdragon 212 has 4-cores with 1.3GHz Cortex ARM A7, now ARM A7 is kind of old CPU but again real-time!!

The phone has 1GB of RAM to carry out every task on the phone. The one thing that goes with the support of the phone- It is running on pure Android experience which will consume less of the RAM.

There is nothing fancy at the camera counterpart as we get an 8MP camera at the rear side with a 5MP shooter at the front.

Price.

The phone is launched at Euro 99 which totals to around INR 7000 but looking in the India market where we already have better options at INR 7000, Nokia might just tag it at somewhere around INR 6000. The phone will be available in three colours - Black, White, Cooper.
The phone definitely disappoints at some pointers but for the Nokia fans, I think it's just an affordable treat.
