Though the leaked renders of iPhone 8 and Samsung Note 8 are already ruling the mobile world, the Google Pixel 2 might be the real winner.
This year's Pixel might not be raising hype as of now but Pixel 2 might prove as a game changer in the gadgets world as we have already seen Google Pixel beating iPhone 7 earlier.
So far we haven't seen much of leaks or renders in regard of Google Pixel 2 but everything was minimized to a few reports. Now as Forbes covered an exclusive render leak of Pixel 2, we have something that you might like.
Google Pixel 2 is said to feature a 5-inch curved display along with bezel-less sides. The display comes with a resolution of 2560 x 1312.
On the other hand, Pixel 2 XL will be featuring a 5.6-inch display with the same resolution.
As mentioned above, the phone will come with a bezel-less side display that makes the phone a little compact. The phone is also said to have a ratio of 18:9, the same ratio Samsung S8 comes with. 18:9 ratio will make the phone a little heightened but will reduce the length.
The Google Pixel 2 might ditch 3.5mm audio jack!
Also, the phone is said to have bezel-less sides, and minimum chin at the bottom with fingerprint sensor settled at the back just like we saw on Pixel. The upcoming Pixel 2 will also be water resistant upto an extent. Also, Pixel 2 will be supporting wireless charging with the inclusive of Google's own (or Qualcomm) fast charging technology- some experts claiming.
The rendered images of Pixel 2 suggest it won't be supporting Dual-camera setup while Pixel 2 XL will be getting a Dual-camera configuration. Talking about the lens size, both the variants will have a primary 12MP shooter with a 7MP front shooter. There is nothing clear about the secondary rear lens on Google Pixel 2 XL.
According to TechRadar, the smaller variant will have a 2770mAh of non-removable battery while the bigger version will have 3450mAh battery.
Both the variants will be rocking a Snapdragon 836 as SoC. Yes, Snapdragon 836 is not even a real thing to the public right now but Google is reportedly found working with Snapdragon on this processor. On the RAM part, both the phones are said to have 4GB of RAM.
Pixel 2 XL was accidentally leaked on the Geekbench app with a code name 'Google Taimen', and the Geekbench suggested the phone will be featuring Android O too.
